And why is that? Because “Egypt, Egypt” is to electro-heads what New Order’s “Blue Monday” has always been to budding hipsters and ’80s-themed dance nights. The song is inescapable, and whether you can name it or not, it’s been played by a DJ somewhere, every day, for the last 24-plus years.
