News Two Beers with Chris Funk (and Friends)

My grandpa once told me these wise words: "The only thing better than one beer, is two beers."
He then drove his car into a tree.
Hereditary alcoholism aside, Chris Funk (from ye olde Decemberists and Flash Hawk Parlor Ensemble) is starting up a month-long residency called Two Beers. He'll be joined by Laura Veirs and Annalisa Tournfelt for "a bunch of old time and country covers" that will feature the vast instrumental range (dobro, fiddle, mandolin, autoharp) of the three players, some sweet sweet voices, and probably some cold pints as well.
Two Beers will be at the Laurelthirst Public House every Wednesday in October, from 6-8 pm.
