Ryan Dolliver Visits EWF Modern (for The Penny Jam)

Posted by Ezra Ace Caraeff on Tue, Oct 7, 2008 at 12:04 PM

Another week, another great clip from The Penny Jam.

This time they placed crooner Ryan Dolliver, and a pair of back-up singers, inside the posh settings of EWF Modern and their "unique showroom in the heart of the Pearl District." Dolliver violates the End Hits "no headbands" policy, but still delivers with a great version of "All Night Long" for this First Thursday performance.

I hate to be one of those people, but isn't the song title actually "He Called Me Baby"? I can see, of course, how that would be awkward for Mr. Dolliver. Words and music by Patsy Cline, though Candi Staton's is my favorite version.

you're right. i fucked up and gave the incorrect title of "all night long" to the penny jam. it was no attempt at claiming the song as my own, and was in no way the fault of those sweet dudes.

I forgot to mention- it was really good! I like it sung by a man. I just hope you don't have too many disappointed Lionel Ritchie fans to contend with...
