Word around the indie rock water cooler is that hotshit label DFA has signed a certain Portland band who shall remain nameless (for now). Damn that is cool. We've reached out to the band in question and are waiting to hear back, we'll let you know...

We were thinking Chromatics who are kinda nameless since changing their name or Glass Candy - like the label struck a licensing thing with Italians Do It Better, but we're now thinking YACHT. I mean James Murphy loves Jona and took him on a national tour and all. Hopefully this means Marriage will get some cash... to be spent on White Fang (drugs and rent).

Dude, no update. The act in question replied that they will spill the beans on this very soon, but not now. Until then, let those guesses keep coming. What about Everclear? Aren't they without a label...
