News MTV (Still) Loves Portland Some More

The smoochy love affair between the network with all the Proactiv ("Your Answer for Acne!") ads and the city of Portland continues on. This time around MTV unleashes a mighty public display of affection upon PDX-Pop Now. Aw, it's kind of sweet to hear a mighty media power like MTV say this...
There is a lot of great music in Portland, and right at the center of all that is PDX Pop Now!, an amazing resource for musicians and music fans.
Jeez, MTV and Portland, get a room already!

Boring! Just like they "loved" San Diego. And Seattle, and Austin, and San Francisco, and Chapel Hill, etc. Why is it whenever Portland receives any mention by media in NY, people seem to wet their pants? "Gosh darnit, I am soooo glad I moved here, it's so cool and it is THE place to be. See, even the NYT, and now MTV thinks so. Right? I mean, right? Right?"
