Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks Debut New Song at Siren Festival

Champion softball player, and guitar wanking legend, Stephen Malkmus (and his Jicks) debuted a new tune Saturday night while headlining the Siren Festival in Coney Island. The sleepy-eyed little number is called "Astral Facial," and was captured in digital file format by a savvy concert bootlegger. Thanks nerd!

After the performance Malkmus was spotted on the boardwalk next to the Zoltar Speaks machine, where he inserted a quarter and wished for a Pavement reunion.

nyctaper.com does NOT record "bootlegs". All of the recordings are authorized as unofficial live captures either with pre-authorization or from artists with an existing "taper-friendly" policy. Peruse the site and you'll understand better. http://www.nyctaper.com
