Local don't-call-'em-prog trio 31Knots have a mighty new record entitled Worried Well due out on the 19th of August. The album is a snapshot of the band headed in an ambitious new direction which strips away some of their technical chops while focusing more on the vibrant songwriting of frontman Joe Haege and the band's keen ability to create some very unique songs. Case in point, "Compass Commands" which sounds like 4-5 songs in one, including in this is a clumsy piano line, those eerie female oracle voices, a great instrumental breakdown, and one colossal finish at the end.

Listen, catch your breath, then listen again.
