Ax Tracks

Posted by Andrew R Tonry on Tue, Aug 12, 2008 at 3:21 PM

Chugging, heavy local duo The Ax just posted a few new, unmastered tracks from their upcoming full-length, "Our Queen of Dirt." The shit sounds like it was recorded at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio, but it actually came from Portland's own Old Standard Sound.

The band is preparing to take off on the strangest tour I've seen in some time: seven shows in Washington state, four in Oregon and one each in Montana and Idaho. Fucking yokels. Anyway, for those specific dates, see the band's myspace.
