Warpaint

What we've got here is a grey track for a grey day. The band, LA's Warpaint, are a foursome (three blindingly beautiful women and a scruffy dude) who you'll likely to hear a lot more from in the future. They're working on an EP, and this track, "Billie Holiday" is a preview.

Something about the song, although it should be reassuring--especially to a guy like me--rings of sorrow, as if they're trying to remind themselves. Sad. But boy, that spelled out B-I-L-L-I-E-H-O-L-I-D-A-Y sure is catchy...

Have a listen: Warpaint's "Billie Holiday"
