LISTEN:

Gang Gang Dance - "Vacuum"

Here's a track from the new Gang Gang Dance album, Saint Dymphna, due out tomorrow on the Social Registry. It's a weird, blurry mindfuck of a dance record, jam packed with drum beats of all speeds, old and new synths, raygun noises, prog rock breakdowns, dancehall toasts, and global rhythms. It's kind of oversaturated, coming at all angles with disco, noise, grime, and world beats all at once, but it's a heady, exciting listen that begs to be unraveled. This track is one of the album's slower moments, but you'll find it's anything but mellow.
