Where's the Dedication?

Weezy's latest mixtape, Dedication 3, was supposed to come out today but I can't seem to find it. I guess that's the nature of the mixtape--they just kind of trickle out, whenever and wherever they do. And certainly release dates are about as reliable as a campaign promise from Lee Atwater. Anyway, I'll keep my eyes out.

In the meantime I found one track from Dedication, "Art Of Storytellin' 4 Freestyle," featuring a whole slew of rappers along with an auto-tuned Wayne. It's not bad, but I can't help but think it'd be better without the robot voice. Wayne is seeming sitting on a desire to sing a bit more (evidenced perhaps by the R&B bent of Carter 3, which drove some folks crazy). So Wayne, let's go the whole way and hear your singing voice without obstruction.

Listen: "Art of Storytellin' 4 Freestyle," feat. Willie Da Kid, Mack Maine and LA The Darkman

I'm having trouble telling if you're seriously excited about this mixtape or if you're being ironic.

I think it's the former, but I hope it's the latter.

I can't believe how huge this guy is. I love hip-hop, but this dude not only isn't the greatest rapper alive, he actually sucks.

I cannot *wait* until this Lil Wayne fad is over. Blech.
