Vice Magazine's web TV series Soft Focus is taping locally this Thursday, December 4, at the Bagdad Theater (3702 SE Hawthorne). Soft Focus is an "off beat music interview show" and this installment sees Ian Svenonius interviewing Fred and Toody Cole (currently of Pierced Arrows and formerly of Dead Moon) as well as Stephen Malkmus. If you're interested in attending the free taping, which takes place Thursday at 7-10 pm, you'll need to RSVP by going here. Also, there's an after-party starting at 10 pm at Aalto Lounge (3356 SE Belmont) with Svenonius spinning 45s. Meanwhile, you can watch older episodes of Soft Focus here.
