The word nerds in the Decemberists aren't the only band from Portland to have a record label based in this iconic building. It would seem that the transplants in Hockey have recently signed a deal with Capitol Records.

No word if the big 'ole label will re-release their (previously self-released) Mind Chaos album, but if they do, I suggest using this song as the single...

LISTEN:

Hockey - "Song Away"

Hockey will regale us all with stories about how they now share a label with Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, and Bob Seger (!) when they play the Doug Fir on the 19th of this month.

Look at the picture, then ask yourself that question again.
