If you needed any further proof that Neil Young just isn't trying anymore, behold:


Did you make it all the way through? My hat's off to you. There's actually a good, gnarly guitar solo towards the end, but my god. A predictable sub-ZZ Top blues riff repeated for six minutes, with an old man mumbling about bailouts and blogging...

I am still a huge Neil Young fan. I mean, God love'm, right? And there's something to be said for a guy who really, truly, honestly does not give a fuck. But ouch. This song is, erm, uh... what is the critical term? Not good. Dammit Neil!

Okay. I am going back to listen to that 1968 Canterbury House album again.

jeezum crow, i've never wanted to beat a rock icon with an apple so badly. he should stick to parading around in his hot-shit car. i made it to the 1:24 mark and started having the sudden need to do busy work.
