Let's All Randomly Guess the Bands Playing Sasquatch!

I'm no Miss Cleo, so I'll leave the predicting of which bands are performing at the Sasquatch Music Festival—Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-25th—to the experts... or at least, the wildly speculative bloggers.

This (I assume fan-run) blog site has been digging up scoops on which bands are playing the weekend festival at the Gorge. So far the "confirmed" list has: Kings of Leon, The Avett Brothers, Peter, Bjorn and John, and Sun Kil Moon. While the "rumored" section contains: Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, John Vanderslice, Monotonix, Passion Pit, The Decemberists, and Tobacco.

How does this site find out the lineup before anyone else? Tough, street-wise reporting? Or just looking on Twitter?
Check out this back-and-forth twitting (?) between head Decemberist Colin Meloy and a fan:

@colinmeloy Best coffee shop in Portland? Any chance you'll be at Sasquatch? Why is my computer running so slow? grrr

@shazkitten Ace stumptown. yes. need more RAM?

Yes, Colin is right, that kid does need more RAM!

We'll have more info when the official Sasquatch announcement comes this way, but feel free to add your wild speculative guesses below. My prediction: JJ Fad.

I don't know. After getting fist fucked by Ticketmaster to the tune of $70 or so dollars last year I'll probably skip this year unless they decide not to charge a $20 per day ticket "convenience" charge and only sell tickets for individual days so they can maximize "convenience" fees. I'll just catch most of the acts I want to see when they come through town.

Although it was pretty funny standing in line next to the Oregonian's music reporter Luciana Lopez and watching her stomp her feet and complain about having to stand in line to get in the gates and generally acting like a petulant child because The Oregonian is a joke of a rag and even the Sasquatch people know it.

Was that a good run on sentence?

I heard Coldplay was going to be there but they have a show at the Gorge already in July. They can't be there twice thank god. Or... can they?
