Good news for all you Decemberites (Is there a handy nickname for Decemberists' fans? The Youth and Beauty Brigade? The Pantaloon Posse? Meloy's Munchkins?) out there: You can now purchase The Hazards Of Love as a download, or on vinyl, a week early.

Oh, sweet miracle to end all miracles:

The Decemberists have launched their ambitious new album The Hazards of Love (Capitol Records) today March 17th with a weeklong exclusive sale of the digital album through the iTunes Store. The album, which NPR called an “epic adventure,” is also being released today as deluxe 180-gram gatefold vinyl through select indie retailers, and will be made available widely through all retail outlets in all formats on March 24th.

The band will also be streaming their SXSW performance—where they play Hazards start-to-finish—tomorrow on NPR's SXSW site. Clear your calendar.
