Your Daily PDX Pop Now! Song

Posted by Ezra Ace Caraeff on Tue, Jun 2, 2009 at 11:31 AM

In anticipation of this year's PDX Pop Now! festivities, the local non-profit is sharing more songs from their upcoming 40-track compilation. So before you can get your paws on their double-disc of local sounds—plus witness an all-age release show this Thursday at Holocene that features Copy, Jared Mees & the Grown Children, What's Up?, Taxpayers and DJ Beyonda—you will be able to preview a few of the comp's standout tracks here on End Hits.

The first track? That would be something from the rhythm-happy ladies in Explode Into Colors.

And just case you failed to mark your calendars:
PDX Pop Now! 2009 will be held at Rotture on July 24th through the 26th. It's free and so all-ages that it hurts.
