Everybody's favorite Swedish twee poppers (okay, maybe just mine) Love is All are back in town tonight! With two criminally underrated albums—both Nine Times That Same Song and last year's A Hundred Things Keep Me Up at Night—under their belts, the band has honed in their sound fantastically, with elements of pop, post-punk, and...wait, was that a saxophone I just heard?!
If you've been lucky enough to catch them live already, you know that they destroy. Lead singer Josephine Olausson not only helps prove the fact that everybody in Sweden in cute, she bounces around with boundless energy and enthusiasm that is nothing less than contagious. Add in Bay Area fourteen piece band Still Flyin' and Portland favorites Dirty Mittens, and you've got yourself one hell of a Tuesday.
Holocene. 8:30pm. $10.
