Video Bat for Lashes - Tonight!

It's no secret that we're all up in Bat for Lashes' steez, and not just because Natasha Khan wields that big percussion staff (Like a wizard!) and makes video homages to The Karate Kid's Daniel LaRusso (see the above video). If we did need a better reason to like this British outfit, it would be because, as an artist, Khan is on another level than her pop music peers. Think Kate Bush, or Björk. She's that good.
Tonight's performance at the Doug Fir is sold out, but dry your eyes since Bat for Lashes have already booked another Portland show, August 27th at the Wonder Ballroom. That will probably sell out as well, so buying tickets in advance is recommended.
