In case you haven't heard, here's how it went:
Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse made a bunch of beats, passed them out famous folks to sing over, and got David Lynch to create a book of art (he also ended up singing). EMI, who has a weird contract dispute with Danger Mouse said "uh uh," to which he replied (and I'm paraphrasing): "Fuck that. I'll put it out anyway, with a blank CD in the package so people can just download and burn it." And goddamnit, he did. I'm downloading that bitch right now. I'd sure like to have one of the limited edition copies with the art and blank disc, but at $50 bucks a pop it falls outside the discretionary budget. Anyway, for the full story, go on over here. But really, you might as well just skip right on past to the torrent download.
