Video 4th of July Madness

If you were at that ridiculous July 4th party at the 12th and Hawthorne food carts, you can probably attest that it was one of the oddest scenes you've witnessed in awhile. Jumpy castle, bands performing, shit blowing up, fried pies, a guy selling knives... it was like some wonderful/horrible dream. Thankfully this country's finest patriot, Minh Tran, was there to capture it all on video. Yes, video.

Watch the party madness ensue—as seen through a mysterious floating plate of Potato Champion poutine—in this clip. You just can't go wrong with gravy and cheese curds.

well you can for sure tell who came to just get some good food and who is just " keeping Portland weird" Like dancing naked tree girl or the guy in the red cape.

Despite the good food some of the carts there dish out, that scene was as thoroughly uninteresting as I expected it to be.
