Tonight! Inside Voices: Taking Back Wednesday

110a/1249505724-inside_voices.jpgWhat are you doing tonight? And next Wednesday? The Wednesday after that? Well I know what Inside Voices are doing... not because I'm stalking them (that would be The Thermals), but because the trio is booked solid trough August for Berbati's Restaurant Residency Series.

That's right. Every Wednesday at 10 p.m. Inside Voices will perform along with other local guest bands (tonight features Dallas County Potential and Weaver). And you know what? It doesn't cost a damn thing. Berbati's kicked off the series in June with Leather Tom & the Dirty Dudes, while everyone's favorite misspellers Nucular Aminals rocked the month of July.

And if for some reason the next four Wednesdays aren't enough, Inside Voices will play Nurses' album release show on August 6th, Worksound on August 15th with The Prids, and they'll hunker down at the Doug Fir with Tu Fawning on the 27th.

I suggest showing up to each and every August show—the members will either be endeared by your presence, or completely overcome with fear. Either way there's a good chance you could get them to cover any song you want.

Hi friends! --- Just wanted to let everyone know that we're doing a little something different this month at Berbati's. Operating under the assumption that nobody really needed to hear Inside Voices play full sets every Wednesday, we decided to invite some of our favorite musical friends to play shows, usually with an Inside Voices member involved in some capacity - so it's kind of "I.V. presents" month. Here's what to expect in the coming weeks:
Aug. 12 - Dobird w/ special guests and a solo set by John
Aug. 19 - Wet Wool (Jeff and John doing their mostly-improv free-shred thing) w/ special secret guest
Aug. 26 - Inside Voices (full band set with all the bells & whistles and probably some friends)

It's gonna be an awesome month! Come out and join us.
