WK has posted a little trailer for "Don't Move Here: Inside Portland's Music Scene," their film series dedicated to those who make all that loud racket known as Portland music.
Don't Move Here is a series that focuses exclusively on the burgeoning underground music scene in Portland.
Using a combination of interviews and live footage we will expose the world to all the cool bands, record labels, and underground venues that make Portlands music scene so unique.
Bands featured will include YACHT, Grouper, Rev Shines, Honey Owens, White Rainbow, Explode into Colors, Jackie O Motherfucker, Atole, Libretto, Deelay Ceelay, and more. Plus there are interviews with our esteemed mayor, Alicia Rose from Mississippi Studios, and a stripper. Okay, maybe the stripper is not interviewed, but she is seen dancing in the series' trailer.
Trust me, I know, I paused the video and everything.

Looks like fun, but this:
"You can play in a band that's only practiced twice and people will think it's great."
is the most annoying thing about the Portland arts scene, isn't it? And the fact that he says that like it's a positive? Even more so.
Oh sweet man! Just a buncha chillerrrrs hangin' out lending free-of-charge credibility to a corporate advertising agency! Cool summer times! Groovy! Shotgun some beeeeeers!
Whatever who cares how many times a band practices if people like it. Besides Steve is using a bit of hyperbole there.
