Worried about exchanging food stamps for a MusicFest bracelet? Well, starve no more my friends, because KEXP is hosting a series of live "studio sessions" at the Doug Fir during the festival. Oh, did I mention they are free and all ages? Yeah, they are. These first come, first served shows are a perfect excuse to take a few hours off work, plus peep that ridiculous lineup:

Thursday, September 17th
10:30am The Pains of Being Pure at Heart
12:30pm Cymbals Eat Guitars
2:30pm We Were Promised Jetpacks
4:30pm The Twilight Sad

Friday, September 18th
10:30am Local Natives
12:30pm Arctic Monkeys
2:30pm The Builders and the Butchers
4:30pm Sunny Day Real Estate

Um, a free Sunny Day Real Estate show in a small club. Yes please.
