Tonight! Hear and See the New Flaming Lips Record Tonight

The new Flaming Lips double album, Embryonic, doesn't come out until tomorrow, but if you can't wait, coolest store in town Jackpot Records is hosting a listening party tonight at the Bagdad Theater. Actually, it's much more than just a listening party. It's billed as a "multimedia event"; Jackpot has prepared a series of filmed visuals to accompany the album for a theatrical presentation that'll probably fall into the category of "trippy." So, you know, be prepared. Also, you'll be able to buy Embryonic at midnight and bring it home with you.

Bagdad Theater, 3702 SE Hawthorne, doors at 10, album listening plus film presentation starts at 11, FREE.
