News Jonathan Richman is Coming to The Know!

In what will probably be the oddest local event since Dave Chapelle (barely) showed up at Pioneer Square, famed troubadour Jonathan Richman will be performing at the Know! Two nights: May 7th and 8th of next year.
Supposedly the Modern Lover stopped by the Alberta bar before his show at the Aladdin earlier this month and was smitten with the place, offering to play there on his next tour. In recent years I've barely been able to drum up the energy to see Richman at other venues, yet for some odd reason these shows seem absolutely mandatory.
