News Jandek + Thurston Moore Coming to Portland

According to the Jackpot Records twitter feed, the store is putting on an extremely rare Jandek and Thurston Moore show at the Hollywood Theater on April 29th. You all know Moore as the arm candy of Kim Gordon who just so happened to invent indie rock, guitar feedback, and the particle accelerator*, but Jandek is the main attraction here. The most elusive creature since Nessie—and with a much better voice—Jandek live shows are incredibly rare, and this will be his first Portland show in over four years.
