News / Vinyl Why I Must Be Careful Braves Bee Stings and All

Portland experimental duo Why I Must Be Careful has a crazy idea for a limited-edition packaging for their new album. Basically, they're enlisting the services of 100,000 bees to make 12x12 honeycomb patterns, which will then serve as packaging for their vinyl record. They also want to print their lyrics in Braille, which I don't quite follow (bees can't read Braille). Anyway, this kind of half-inspired, half-cockamamie idea doesn't come cheap, so they're looking to rustle up some dough for the project. Here's a video that explains it all in detail, followed by a performance by Why I Must Be Careful, in which they perform for a lone goat.
