Another week, another Mercury music section to read while you get angry at the rebooted Lilith Fair for supporting anti-choice organizations. Boo, Lilith. Boo.

Hang ten with the blog buzz act Surfer Blood. Are they the new BBE (Best Band EVER), or just another flavor of the month/week/day/hour?
LISTEN:

Surfer Blood - "Swim"

As the music industry slowly implodes, Muse just might be the last arena rock band standing. I think that's a good thing.
LISTEN:

Muse - "United States Of Eurasia (+Collateral Damage)" (See if you can spot the slight Queen influence in this song)

Mama always said to never trust a slick-talking guitar man, but how can we possibly resist Imaad Wasif?
LISTEN:

Imaad Wasif - "Priestess"

A look at the Postal Service stealing, bible-thumping, wuss that is otherwise known as Owl City. He would write a rebuttal to this piece, but he is too busy rolling around in a large pile of money and many beautiful women copies of the New Testament.
LISTEN:

Owl City - "Fireflies" (See if you can spot the slight Postal Service influence in this song)
