The Ram Project

Posted by Ezra Ace Caraeff on Tue, Apr 6, 2010 at 9:33 AM

Some men climb Mt. Everest alone. Others take to the open sea with their solitude. Yet none of those can compare to the madness that will come from covering the entirety of Paul and Linda McCartney's Ram all by your lonesome.

Dave Depper (Norfolk & Western, Blue Giant, & countless other bands) is crazy enough to do just that with The Ram Project, as he embarks on this home recording endeavor and documents it all on his blog. Here is a peek at "Ram On," which Depper calls "the sweetest and most simple of all Ram tracks." If this project doesn't kill him, look for Depper to cover Memory Almost Full next.
