Richmond Fontaine - "Boyfriends" (Live in Vienna)

Posted by Ezra Ace Caraeff on Thu, Apr 15, 2010 at 3:19 PM

In honor of Willy Vlautin's fine new novel, Lean on Pete, we dug up this They Shoot Music Don't They video of Richmond Fontaine performing at Vienna's Friedrichsplatz square. Normally I'd say that "Boyfriends" is the best song from We Used To Think The Freeway Sounded Like A River, but honestly every song on the record is great. And if you have an insatiable hunger for sadness, we recommend his new book as well.
