Let's Talk About... Wrong Ponytail

Another publication who shall not be named (it's not you, Asian Reporter) wrote this:
Sounds super duper! But sadly that is not the right band.
This is Ponytail. It's pretty clear that the Baltimore band is not coming to town tonight (Although they are playing the Matt Groening-curated All Tomorrow's Parties show in the UK in about a week. Groening is from Portland, so that counts, right?), and a quick email to the band's booking agent, John Chavez at Ground Control Touring, confirmed that. His response: "Not our Ponytail!"
We are waiting to hear back from East End, but the club has pulled the listing. Unfortunately a psychedelic rose shall not bloom in the city that bleeds tonight. Please make a note of it.
