In the wake of Grizzly Bear lending their music to this dizzying Washington State Lottery ad, Portland's very own Menomena are following suit. The band is killing time before the release of Mines (Only 73 days, 22 hours, 17 minutes before it's available—but really, who's counting?) by licensing Friend and Foe's "Wet And Rusting" to the Oregon Lottery for this new ad.
Hopefully the band was paid in Aerosmith scratcher tickets, because that way they could totally win a "rockstar party" plus they'd double their money*.
* Advice like this is why no one wants to go to Portland Meadows with me.
