Weekend! / MP3 New Single from Drew Grow and the Pastors' Wives

Take a listen to the A-side from the new single from Drew Grow and the Pastors' Wives. "Up in Smoke" is the latest in their series of two-song single releases, and this particular song was recorded over an extended period of time with a complex orchestration. Grow and the Wives have been dropping solidly great singles regularly over the past nine months or so, so it's good news to hear that they'll be compiled for a vinyl LP due out in September.

The single (whose B-side is "Shake a Leg"; check out both tracks here, along with some other ones) celebrates its release at Rotture this Sunday, May 30. w/Ravenna Woods, Priory; Rotture, 315 SE 3rd, 9 pm, $6
