Your Guide to the Mercury Anniversary Party: Fogatron Edition

Posted by Ezra Ace Caraeff on Wed, Jun 2, 2010 at 3:59 PM

Full disclosure, Fogatron has been inside my home and beatboxed with my pug.

That said, there is no better man this world over to emcee our tenth anniversary party than him. A longtime staple of Portland hiphop, Fogatron's absolutely stunning vocal percussion skills are not merely based in hiphop, he's also a perfect fit for the kiddie set as well (this includes his pair of One Night in Frogtown performances he's doing before our party).

Plus, judging by that above video, Fogatron is the only man who can make Fox 12 watchable.

The Mercury anniversary party is Sat June 5 at Rotture. All-age outdoor events from 7-10 pm with sets from DJ Copy, DJ Linoleum, and DJ Dundiggy. At 10 pm we move inside for a free, 21-plus, show with Mean Jeans, Astronautalis, Explode into Colors (their final performance), and guest host Fogatron. See you there.
