Musester: Finally, Your Chance to Get Drunk with Moby!

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Thu, Jun 3, 2010 at 3:20 PM

Musester.com is the brainchild of Johnny Buss, the son of LA Lakers owner/bajillionaire Jerry Buss, and described in his bio as "a bon vivant—a sportsman, an artist, something of a playboy (having dated Paula Abdul and Amber Lynn), and an entrepreneur—in short, a renaissance man." A social networking site for creative professionals, the vision is of "the open-minded love child of sites like Facebook with the artistic twist of Model Mayhem, providing its members with the tools and functions to not only showcase their own talent, but to find talent." Let's just stick a big ole "whatever" pin in that now, though, and cut to the launch party happening Wednesday the 9th at Saucebox from 8-11 pm, where they claim to not only have members of Leverage(!) and Kevin Connolly as confirmed guests, but the one and only Moby.

[PHOTO OF MOBY REMOVED BECAUSE THE OWNERS OF SAUCEBOX DON'T WANT HIM EXPLOITED FOR THE SAKE OF THIS EVENT OR SOMETHING. BY THE WAY, NO, HE IS NOT PERFORMING HE IS JUST AN INVITED GUEST.]

The event, billed as "an affair for the creative soul" and "an interactive mixer for the art star in you!" is free and open to the public, so you'll be there, right? Right?
