News Janelle Monae Returning to Portland

About damn time.
After fawning over Janelle Monae at her two previous Portland shows, the neo/scifi/soul singer with hair so high that it touches the heavens is finally making her return to town. She'll be touring with Of Montreal—makes sense, at least theatrically, plus Of Montreal appears on The ArchAndroid and Monae is returning the favor on their forthcoming record—and will be at Roseland Theater on October 28. No word on who headlines, but I'd much rather watch Monae than Kevin Barnes these days, unless Barnes brings his pretty horse.
