Cloudy October is still just getting started, but he already can boast one of the most exciting flows in town. The creative production and stellar rhymes on "The Aviator is Dead" EP are available to download from his website—it could be the best zero dollars you spend all day.

Portland by way of St. Louis rapper Da'rel Junior seems to be fitting in just fine here—In "Spelling D", he rhymes about hipsters with fixed gears and skinny jeans before claiming he's "half kombuchay, half red Kool Aid". These party raps will have you chanting "D-A-apostrophe-R-E-L" before they're over.

The PDX Pop Now! Festival takes place from July 30 — August 1 at Rotture (320 SE 2nd Ave, Free to all ages)
