16 days until the 2010 PDX Pop Now! Festival kicks off. Until then, take a moment to get a little better acquainted with two of the acts that will be performing.

Local chamber ensemble Fear No Music perform interpretations of classic works alongside their own compositions—taking risks most groups would not, gaining modern credibility and shredding perceptions of what classical music should be.

Fear No Music - "Surgical Strike"

More than a decade of experimentation to their name, Get Hustle lets loose stony expansions and fractures of avant-punk-prog, arranging them with a chaos and complexity that still hasn't gotten any easier to describe after all this time.
LISTEN:

Get Hustle - "The North Thule"

The PDX Pop Now! Festival takes place from July 30 — August 1 at Rotture (320 SE 2nd Ave, Free to all ages)
