Hey, This Dead Confederate Cover Looks Awful Familiar

Athens rock outfit Dead Confederate has a new album entitled Sugar out in a few weeks and its cover art looks a very similar to 2007's 7 Small Winter Songs, an EP courtesy of Portlander Rachel Taylor Brown.

Here is the original source image, which it seems that both Brown and Dead Confederate thought would make for striking cover. Brown isn't accusing the Georgia band of stealing her cover art, but perhaps she'll slip a couple copies of 7 Small Winter Songs on the merch table when Dead Confederate play Doug Fir on September 6.

LISTEN:

Rachel Taylor Brown - "Peacock Lane" (from 7 Small Winter Songs)

Dead Confederate - "Run From The Gun" (from Sugar)
