I present to you a video that I've watched four times now and still can't quite wrap my head around.
These two, Suzanne Cleary and Peter Harding, are world-renowned Irish Dancers heading a project/performance called Up and Over It, where they display how they've creatively deconstructed and modernized that which Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance has emball—uh, I mean, emblazoned—in our minds as far as Irish Dance is concerned. Which I think means less of the outfits that expose the testicles as they bounce freely along with the traditional Celtic music being played.
The musical backdrop is provided by Australia's Yolanda Be Cool, an electro-hip hop band who seem to be pretty well-known down under, in collaboration with a producer named D Cup.
Now, for something a little similar that I'm sure I'll never master, no matter how many times I am given slow demonstrations by those MCs hired to "get the party pumping" at Bar Mitzvahs. Coordination Fail.
