Hey Bands, Want Your Music on the PDX Pop Now! 2011 Compilation?

If the answer to that question is a resounding "YES," then you will be pleased to hear that the 2011 PDX Pop Now! compilation is now taking submissions. The double disc 2011 compilation won't hit record stores until June, but the PPN! staff is very serious about their anonymous submission screening process (I heard it involves blindfolds) and it clearly takes time to sort through hundreds and hundreds (thousands?) of songs. This year will also mark the first year the compilation is available digitally. Darn, and here I was thinking ironic cassette releases were the wave of the future.

All the details are on their site. Good luck, Portland bands.
