Though it wasn't going to be announced for a couple more weeks, SMMR BMMR's Jon Barron has confirmed that the list posted onto Facebook by Bay Area band TRMRS is indeed true for this summer's SMMR BMMR.
The garage and punk bands that will take over Plan B August 5th and 6th include King Tuff (the Happy Birthday front man/ Witch guitarist who released the perfect dirty-pop masterpiece King Tuff Was Dead a few years back), as well as Shannon and The Clams, Cowabunga Babes, The Night Beats, Audacity, The Ketamines, TRMRS, Christmas Island, Therapists, The Shrapnelles, Peach Kelly Pop, Mean Jeans, Youthbitch, Rock & Roll Adventure Kids, Blood Beach, Guantanamo Baywatch, and Seattle's legendary part-time punks The Trashies (featuring members of Uzi Rash Group, Unnatural Helpers, Spurm and Tacocat).
If it's anything like past years, there's gonna be a lot of beer drinking, pizza eating, and a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears. Get ready. Get tuff.
