New Vintage Video From Sallie Ford & the Sound Outside

Posted by Charlie Swanson on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 8:56 AM

Sallie Ford & the Sound Outside have a lot of words like 'retro' and 'throwback' attached to their sound, but I think 'timeless' is a better one. The new video for "I Swear," the first single off Dirty Radio, really makes my case for me (thanks!) by showcasing the group as they could have looked over the last five decades. As the clothes, hair, and Ford's glasses change over the eras, the video perfectly matches the group's enduring and infectious energy. With Ford's distinctly sonorous vocals blazing over a classic guitar riff, "I Swear" also works as a kickin' opener to the new album, which you can get today!
