News Green Noise Records is on the Move!

Green Noise Records is pulling up stakes on their SE Clinton location and moving to new digs at 3840 SE Gladstone. Yes, that is all of 1.7 miles away. The shop's owner, and Dirtnap Records founder, Ken Cheppaikode explains the move:

Once we realized this would shave about 3 minutes off the owner's morning bus commute, the decision to relocate was a no-brainer!

Makes sense. The store had been on Clinton for over 11 years and their new location will open around October 1st, if not sooner.

I noticed in the Google Street View that the new place has an adjacent parking lot. Hopefully this leads to lots of parking lot rock shows in 2012.
