Your Terminator 2 Inspired Music Video Of The Day

Posted by Charlie Swanson on Thu, Jun 23, 2011 at 9:03 AM

First off, I've never heard of the band Rymdreglage, and frankly, their 8-bit videogame music is hardly my cup of tea. Yet, I've already watched this video for their song "Anatoliy Shishkov" half a dozen times this morning for two reasons: 1) It recreates many of the best scenes from James Cameron's true masterpiece Terminator 2: Judgement Day in fantastically minimal line drawings. 2) T2 is the GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT IN FILM OF THIS, OR ANY, GENERATION, making even the sketched-out version here easily the coolest thing you'll see all day. The stop motion work of the artist and his ever amassing candle/paper pile is a nice touch too, but really, when the T-1000 is walking through those bars or getting blown apart in simple sharpie drawn over construction paper, life has hit it's peak.

It's all downhill from here, folks.
