Looks like someone has entered her 808's And Heartbreaks stage.

On her new single “Low Self Control" (available digitally today from reputable online retailers) beloved popist Mirah takes a heroic leap onto the dance floor, a significant departure from her traditionally introspective material. Teaming with labelmate Tender Forever, “Low Self Control" utilizes vocoder, a wall of backing vocals, and even some freestyling en français. A natural extension from her recent collaborative work with Thao and tUnE-yArDs, the single is a promising glimpse of Mirah in transition, which in this case is definitely a good thing.
