Here's Video of Blitzen Trapper on Letterman

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Fri, Dec 9, 2011 at 11:48 AM

David Letterman loves Portland. Actually, judging by his intro, I believe that he does! And he apparently loves Mount Hood, too.

Blitzen Trapper played on his pretty famous television program yesterday evening, and this is what it looked like. Fun fact: Blitzen Trapper did indeed play their first show on Mount Hood, although unlike Dave says, it's only a bit over 11,000 feet (not 14,000). The local lads kick out some good ol' fashioned rock jams here, in front of all of America. It's good stuff.

"It's good stuff."

No, it really isn't. Blitzen Trapper, to no fault of their own, are simply mediocre at best. No matter how many times you keep saying they aren't, it won't change that fact. Wait 5 years and see how many people still listen to them.

Lord knows I've tried, but I don't see the appeal of this band.

And you'd never, ever, see some blog in, say, SF, Boston, Chicago, LA, NYC, Nashville, hell, Austin even, gush about how Letterman spewed some typical, predictable, bullshit banter about how he thought the city was "great." He just loves Portland! He really does! Doesn't he! Doesn't he? I mean, he does, doesn't he? Doesn't he?

Pathetic.
