MP3 Not Crap: Mac DeMarco - Rock and Roll Night Club

All right, turns out the controversial Mac DeMarco video I posted a couple days ago was decisively voted "not crap" by Mercury readers, so it's time for me to play nice and apologize for being such a big bully. Everybody deserves a second chance, especially Mac, who's established himself the most promising DIY pop voice to emerge this year, so cop a listen to these, three of the many standout tracks from his new album Rock and Roll Night Club, out March 20th on Captured Tracks.
Thank god there's no video this time—just that lubed-up baritone and a tawdry haze of slippery, line-in guitars.
