Video: Artifice - "Ritual Dance"

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Mon, Apr 2, 2012 at 10:16 AM

If you need a refresher, Artifice is the new incarnation of the band formerly known as Dirty Mittens. They played their first show on New Year's Eve, and have since played a handful of shows around town—including an upcoming free show this Wednesday at Holocene with Mattress and Prescription Pills.

Artifice singer Chelsea Morrisey passed along this live video of Artifice in action at Holocene from a show a few weeks back, from a four-camera shoot that captures the band from all angles. It's one of the first documents of the band in their new, synthy guise, proving that the band's already in command of a moody, effective stage show. The band also has a fine cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" up that's well worth checking out.
